Richard F. (Ric) Chappetto
Director of Business Development -PFGBEST Forex Division
Since joining PFGBEST in 2004, Ric Chappetto has expanded the PFGBEST retail forex business through partnerships and
the addition of new forex IBs. In addition to the programs he has developed with companies like
FXTE, a division of Optionetics, Ric has facilitated the global expansion of PFGBEST Forex through the use of
the company´s Institutional Trading Desk, Currency Delivery Department, and through foreign IBs.
Prior to that, Ric was instrumental in the development of institutional sales of a forex trading system for
GFT Forex, leveraging a number of international and domestic relationships. Before that, he was a Partner and
Director General of MarketWise Trading School, headquartered in Mexico City, teaching prospective investors
and traders to participate in U.S. exchanges.
From 1993-1996 Ric served as the Chief Financial Officer of PC Quote, Inc. and led the company to the highest
earnings in their history. As the President of FutureSource from 1988-1991, he was responsible for full profit
and loss, worldwide sales and marketing and operations. Under his direction, FutureSource saw their most
profitable year of business.
For a number of years, Ric was an international business development consultant, focused on expanding the use
of e-business solutions, computer systems, power generation plants, international finance, commodities and
brokerage services and education. Earlier in his career, he was a VP of systems planning and technology with
McGraw Hill and was also a project manager in charge of PC-based quotations systems developed for banking and
brokerage.
Ric is a Registered Commodity Broker, Series 3; Member, Board of Directors, PFGBEST Chile S.A.; Member, Board of
Directors, The Learning Corporation; Member, United States and Mexico Chamber of Commerce; Member, Woodridge
Rotary Club. He served in the U.S. Army, Military Police, with Top Secret Security Clearance.
