PFG Partners with Spooz, Inc. to Offer Unique, Bundled Market Data to Investors and Traders in U.S. and Abroad

CHICAGO, October 12, 2004—Spooz, Inc. (Pink Sheets: SPZI) today announced it has entered into a strategic partnership with Peregrine Financial Group, Inc. (PFG). PFG will promote Spooz’s flagship product, called SpoozToolz, to more than 14,000 of its trading customers and to an undisclosed number of Russian grain traders. SpoozToolz bundles real-time market data, advanced technical analysis, charting, and numerous other functions designed primarily for futures and options traders. Spooz provides the most advanced consolidated quote data feed in the industry with electronic connectivity to all domestic commodities markets.

“This is our first promotion with a leading Chicago futures commission merchant (FCM),” said Spooz CEO Paul D. Strickland, Jr. “Our partnership with PFG provides access to a multinational sales and distribution network that will enhance awareness and use of SpoozToolz.” Strickland said that in addition to promoting the bundled data to its client and broker network, PFG will provide sales support and other marketing expertise to expand the use of SpoozToolz.

“We bring significant marketing resources and experience to help a great product become established in the futures and options business,” said Jim Kelly, PFG’s executive vice president of market development. “Combined with our electronic trading execution platform, BEST Direct™, SpoozToolz provides more flexibility to the trader than any other product currently available.”

“PFG’s participation and support provides substantial growth opportunity to our business,” Strickland said. “We believe we have assembled a world-class team that will give our subscribers the most complete and easy-to-use analysis, trading and execution package available.”

“The Russian market is opening up for PFG,” added Kelly, whose role also includes leadership of the PFG’s global IB network. “We would like to see a Russian version of the product before the end of this year.” One of the advantages SpoozToolz has over competitive products is that it is an Excel add-in. There is a version of Microsoft Excel available for almost any language so migrating SpoozToolz to other languages is a process that takes weeks rather than months.
