Peregrine Financial Group Appoints Moss Senior Vice President

Chicago, Thursday, April 26, 2001 - Peregrine Financial Group (PFG) today formally announced the addition of Michael Moss to its executive team. Mr. Moss recently joined the Chicago-based firm as Senior Vice President, where he is responsible for PFG's global institutional sales.

Mr. Moss brings a wealth of broad-based experience to PFG, and offers over 23 years of expertise in the futures industry. In addition, he has been a member of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange since 1978. Prior to joining PFG, Mr. Moss was a Senior Vice President for Refco, Inc.

Mr. Moss has served on numerous professional, civic and charitable boards including the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Board of Governors (1991-1993); the Chicago Mercantile Political Action Committee Board of Directors (1992-present); the Respite Care Inc. Board of Trustees (1990-1995); and the Spertus Institute Board of Trustees (1994-1998).
