MARKET MAKER ON MERCHANTS’ EXCHANGE


CHICAGO, April 14, 2003 – Peregrine Financial Group, Inc. (PFG) announced today that it has become a market maker on the Merchants’ Exchange, LLC. PFG will make markets in the Crude Oil, Natural Gas, Unleaded Gas, Heating Oil, Brent Crude and European Heating Oil contracts. The Merchants’ Exchange offers energy and barge futures contracts and is the oldest commodity futures exchange in the U.S. and one of the first to be all electronic.
