PFG Boosts Efforts to Target Asian Market:
Mr. Kem Chong named head of PFG Asian Division

Chicago, November 17, 2005 – Peregrine Financial Group, Inc. (PFG) today announced that it has formed an Asian Division to accommodate the growing demand from Asian nationals and Chinese-speaking clients here and abroad for its futures and forex products and services.

Mr. Kem Chong has joined the company to serve as Director of the PFG Asian Division. Prior to this, Mr. Chong served Asian futures business through Refco's Private Client Group, formerly Lind Waldock in Chicago, a role he started in 1995 after working for a short time at the Chicago Board Options Exchange. Mr. Chong holds a Master’s degree in Financial Markets and Trading from The Illinois Institute of Technology.
