PFG names Herb Kral to enrich Managed Futures Business

CHICAGO, January 11, 2006: Peregrine Financial Group, Inc. (PFG), in a move to speed its growth in managed futures, has appointed Herb Kral to expand its efforts in this product sector. As Director of Managed Futures within PFG's Managed Futures Division, Kral brings experience in satisfying high net worth clients. His track record of success lies in matching advice-seeking investors with appropriate trading systems, Commodity Trading Advisors, and managed futures products that fit their specific demands.

"Some of the differences that PFG stands for in the marketplace include true customer service, customer-driven technologies and a solid and long-time passion for investor and trader education. Herb has been a dedicated and successful consultant to a loyal group of clients who maintain equity accounts of multi-million dollars. At the same time, he has implemented dozens of new product offerings they can build into their strategies. His ability to generate new business stems directly from his integrity in serving customers, attracting new CTAs, and identifying new trading systems. The combination of talent and energy he brings will provide additional opportunities for his sales group at PFG and for existing and new customers. Herb is a dynamic leader and we welcome him to PFG" said Russ Wasendorf, Sr., PFG's CEO.

Added Kral: "With numerous commodity trading advisors (CTAs) participating in PFG's Managed Futures Division, customers of PFG can allocate to any one of them at the click of a button. Customers with accounts starting at $5,000 experience the same, high-quality, on-demand solutions, execution capabilities and support as ultra high-net-worth and highly sophisticated traders and investors. With PFG's intrinsic dedication to cutting edge technologies and innovative investing solutions, I look forward to the boundless combinations that will exceed my customers' expectations."

Mr. Kral came to PFG from the Linnco Futures Group and the Refco Private Client Group, both in Chicago. He began his career in the area of compliance for the Linnco Futures Group, and grew into customer advisory roles and sales success that permitted him to rise to the level of Sr. account representative and director within six years, by 2001. He most recently served as Director, Systems Division, for the Refco Private Client Group.
